The Language Resources Center hosts international volunteers from different parts of the world, providing students with the opportunity to learn about diverse cultures and practice languages in an interactive environment, while also introducing foreign volunteers to the local culture and identity. The center also contributes to enhancing linguistic and cultural exchange through international partnerships and programs.
- Engaging foreign volunteers, who are native speakers of their languages, in linguistic and cultural activities and workshops.
- Hosting master’s students from around the world to fulfill the practical training requirements for bachelor’s or master’s degrees at their universities abroad.
- Cooperating with international entities such as consulates and their accredited language programs, including the U.S. Consulate–funded Virtual English Educator Program.
- Welcoming delegations from consulates, embassies, and their affiliated language centers to participate in the center’s cultural and linguistic events.
- Providing opportunities for language exchange between international volunteers and local volunteers interested in learning Arabic.
