On Saturday, 2/2/2019, the Language Resource Center organized an introductory tour of the Old City of Nablus, with the aim of introducing students to the history of some archaeological sites.


The tour included introducing the city, and introducing the American trainer Timothy Meyer - who accompanied the students on the tour - to the prominent places in it, such as Bab Al-Saha , the Roman amphitheater, the lanes of the Old City, some mills and soap factories, the Al-Khader and Al-Khadra Mosque, the Great Mosque, and some palaces such as Abdul Hadi Palace, the Agha Al-Nimr Palace, the Hashem Palace, the Church of Philip, the Spring of the Villages and the Kasbah Museum.

It is noteworthy that the LRC carries out this type of activities within the framework of its university and community activities, through which it aims to spread the culture of self-learning for foreign languages, and to educate students and society as a whole about the importance of foreign languages in various fields of scientific and professional life. In that purpose, the LRC organizes extracurricular and free activities weekly aim at practicing foreign languages and English in particular.
